I should have gotten around to this a while ago I suppose, as I've been playing these basses for about 10 years, but anyway, hello to the EBMM community and the guys in SLO who build the coolest basses anywhere. I'll try posting pics ( not sure what I'm doing yet) of my three SR s. The '93 SR5 has been my main workhorse since '95 or so. Actually broke the pickup, hence the Bart. The fretless is a '00 I think, bought new in Denver, and the SR4 is an '87 I recently got in trade for a green Sterling. Cheers, thanks for reading, and if anyone needs bass for blues, swing, reggae, funk etc. around Denver, get in touch.:D

Welcome to the forum, Angryclown! I think that you'll like it here.

If you give me your serial numbers, I can give you all three of their birthdays!

Welcome to the forum, you have beautiful basses and posted pictures in your first post, you are going to fit right in! :D

This is a great group of folks that I'm proud to hang out with, make yourself at home and visit often, you'll see what I mean.

Hey Angryclown,

I wasn't able to pull up the serial number record for 25859, is this the correct serial number?

53431, the 5-string Trans Blueburst beauty, was born on 31 March, 1993 at the factory in San Luis Obispo, California and was originally sold to Guitar Center in San Francisco, California.

E12165, the 2EQ Vintage Sunburst unlined fretless with matching headstock and shell guard was born on 3 February 2000 and was originally sold to Drum City Guitarland in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Let me know about that first one and I'll try to dig up what I can about it.
Cheers!

Hey there angryclown....

I just jonied the forum, too. I guess you'er in the Denver area. I'm a Bongo user, and I'm at the Blue bird Theater ( I play bass for Johnny A. ) If you're not gigging tonight, come on by. Johnny's a great guitarist, and I think you'll enjoy the show.

Cheers, Jesse

Mystery #

Beth- I checked again and serial # 25859 is on the bridge of the black 2-band 4 string. I don't really know much about this bass other than I got it from another forum member in a trade two or three months ago (that and I haven't been able to put it down since then :D ) Thanks.

WHY is it that clowns are so scary and so funny at the same time? Is it because clowns scare other people that we find them so funny? LMAO

For me.... that's why
