I'm from Lebanon Ohio, I play a JSX Head through a 5150 cab, and out of the pre amp out into a 5150 combo pwr in. The 5150 cab is set up in a back closet miked (very loud) and I use the combo for a monitor. Play in Christian rock band (originals) and also a Church P&W band, but we gig out alot. My playing style is whatever I can get out that day haha, but it's clean fun!

Hey 63'

How cool is that!!! What a great set-up! You must be a Van Halen fan like myself!!.
Yeah, I also do "Christian" rock stuff as well; I guess I have to, I teach Theology!! LOL.

I haven't had a chance to fire up the JSX head for myself, however, I bet it would sound "incredible with my Axis!! Does that 5150 have the 75w speakers or the Celestion v30's?:)

Hey TNT

Yea I like VH pretty well, but I really love that out of control feeling/sound you get when you play through it, I still have a few 5150-II heads but the JSX Head has a great clean sound which I use alot and the overdrive sounds are awsome. The cabinet has 75w original speakers in it. I actually have two 4x12 cabs but use just one. And it does sound great with the AXIS which I have had in the past and I currently have one on order.
I don't baby it at all. Our church has a kick'in Sound System so I can really get it thumpin.
Go hear one, I think you'll be glad you did, but don't forget your AXIS!!!!

Thanks

Thanks for all the welcomes, I'm gonna get my guitars up as soon as I can, a friend of mine had posted a really bad picture of (me) in action with my SM-Y2D about a month ago,(dfresh, I think) posted it. I have not seen it on the forum, but I know the picture. YIEKS!!!!!!
My Silo is really cool, before I bought it used, the guitar had a Floyd Rose put on with a drop D-tuna. The guy that installed it did a great job, looks factory, the Silo was a non-trem before.

Hey there and welcome!!!
I play an axis thru a JSX, too....into a Carvin Legacy cab with V30s...I tuned the axis down to Eb on my last gig for kicks and cranked the JSX.
that did not suck.

Axis

I have not received my Axis yet, I ordered it back in July and also a JP model. My SM-Y2D is my favorite so far, that guitar is everything that I want and need as a player.
