Hey man it would be shotty of us to not do anything. I've been fortunate enough to not have to face cancer within my family, but I do have a friend that survived lymphoma before I met him, so it is entirely beatable!

PS-just noticed you have a flea bass. I have one in metallic green!

Just saw this. Money sent. Keep the good spirit up and I´m sure all will go very fine. Positive thoughts from Sweden are on the way. All the best.

Great thanks to BP too. Good initiative. Well done, sire.

Keep going, I´d say. If people wants to keep giving, then let them. I´m very aware how expensive hospital treatments are in the States. Hope he has a good insurance.

Sincerely//Jan

To make a long story short, i do have good insurance Sort of... At least as good as you can get with the hospital system here in Pittsburgh, PA. UPMC owns just about everything here in town, and my Insurance from the International corp. i work for doesn;t pay for upmc, which leaves me 3 hospitals i can attend. Basically i would be better off in any city but Pittsburgh.

Even with all the insurance in the world I am out on Disability and my regular bills are adding up. Not to mention my cobra payments for the insurance just so i can afford the dr visits.

This has been a god send, and you all are rockstars in my eyes.

Thanks Again

I am blown away by everyones generosity as well. In just over 5 hours we've raised $2716.77. (some of the currency conversions caused the amount to not be rounded off.)

Kim and I are matching Big Poppa for our Knucklehead brother.

God Bless Big Poppa and all the Knuckleheads.

Prayers for regained health Erin.

I have been out of work since Oct 2008 and I know all about that brutal Cobra payment. Hang in there, we all love you.

you Knuckleheads make very very proud....Lets let it run till 8 am Pacific time cause he can use the dough.

I want to make sure you guys understand how great Beaver Felton and the guys at Bass Central are. Since I am giving him the bass they loose a sale. They were way into it and are sending him his money back. So when the bass is done I will send it to Erin. Props to Beaver! Special props to all of you. When you are constantly surrounded with what is wrong with people in this soundbite 24 hour news world sometimes you can get jaded and things like this are way more important than the negative stuff.

Erin Scotty Hamilton has raised over 17 million dollars for cancer research and founded the website Chemocares.com. Check it out it is invaluable for people going through your ordeal. Let me know if there is anything else you need.

Erin that is strange that your insurer won't pay for UPMC hospitals.. I can't say I've ever heard of that. Weird! Allegheny General has some good cancer programs too, but not as well known (or funded) as the Hillman center.

I'm in, I'm also totally blown away by everybody on this forum. So proud to be a knucklehead today. I'm very lucky to be turning 50 soon, I've had a few near misses. Hang in there Erin. I promise to keep at least one of my Dargie's forever if you do to ...... let's hope that's a long time from now.
