Help: Confirm stainless frets please

Good morning,

I've got my eye in a barely used Albert Lee BFR HH. However, I'd like to confirm that it does in fact have stainless steel frets. The serial lookup returned the following:


Serial # G90151
Manufactured October 31st, 2019
Build Code 955-SS-R3-P3-CS-BM
Model Albert Lee HH Tremolo
Color Silver Sparkle

Any input would be appreciated!

It's really hard to tell on just about any of these BFRs. One site says one thing, another site something else. Case in point:

Sweetwater doesn't mention them:

I'm not familiar with the Silver Sparkle one, but it looks to be a Music Zoo run. So I'd probably go with the info on their site (SS frets are usually called out specifically if they're on there).

That said, your best bet is to email customer MM customer support directly and ask them.
