Hello Everyone,

I have been ready this Forum for a while now and have gotten alot of great info from it. I have been playing lead guitar for about 30 years. Heres the deal. I sold my Axis Supersport recently and have regetted it ever since. I went for an Ibanez JS-1200. In the last week I have reversed my error and ditched the Satriani . It was a cool guitar but Ibanez's quality seems to have fallen over the past decade. The tone was did not cut it with my rig. I found another SuperSport with a standard trem and quilt top. I should receive it tomorrow. I have 3 questions to ask about it.

1. When was it born? The serial is G08336
2. Can I get a compensated nut for it?
3. Is this decent Quilt top? I will try to post a picture.

I can't wait to get back to shedding

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Customer service will look the serial number up for you
2. EBMM does not sell compensated nuts for it. If your guitar didn't leave the factory with it you ain't getting one. Kind of a bummer but its the way they do it.
3. I think its a great looking top. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Thanks Larry,

I thought the top looked unique wth some cool graining. That's why I bought it. I should have posted a different picture showing the whole top. When I get use to this interface I will. Too bad about the nut, but oh well. I get over it.

Amber Quilt

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the guitar top. I posted a new pic. I was not sure if I got a decent top. Most I've seen have more uniform consistant patterns. This is an Amber quilt top. It looks much cooler than my previouc SS. It had a Honey burst flame Maple top. I paid $765 + shipping for it. I feel it was a steal. I am waiting for UPS to deliver my guitar today. I am tempted to leave work early to receive it. Musicman guitars seem to work well with my rig. I use a Laney VH100R and Marshal vintage cab. Question How can I get EBMM to date this guitar?

I love that top!
To me it looks more like a natural woodgrain whereas the quilts and flames don't.
Very nice score!

Jkish, nice score, man. I dig the top too. It's less uniform and more grainy-natural-looking than most. And I agree, you did steal that sucker.
