Help! EBMM Sterling Advice

Hi there,

This is Tim here from the guitar side!

I am helping a friend of mines family sell his bass collection, one of which is a Sterling HH. We lost my friend Al a while back and his family want the instruments to go to good homes. However, I am struggling to find a fair used price for his Sterling.



The instrument has not been played for a while, and could do with a setup and the like. The bass is located in the UK and will be sold from there, so I am looking for the value in UK Pounds. If any of you good folks could could PM me what these go for used, it would be very much appreciated! I don't have the year at this point, though I have asked CS for this info.

Hi Tim,

It's hard to judge the condition just by the photos. But it looks good at the first glance. If you have time and are not looking for a quick sale I would start with 1050 GBP. These are rare in Europe/UK. On the downside the Sterlings are not so popular over here (don't ask me why - I have two of them and I did let my Stingrays go for these) so it might take a while as mentioned.
