Scott, you're right about the pick up covers and nobs. AJ at EB told Bo at Wild West that the optional colors are for sale at a good price. Bo at Wild West ordered them up and is having their luthier install them free of charge. Great shop, great service.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the knobs etc, were available for purchase. That's very cool what Wild West is doing for you. I've heard good things about Wild West, and they always seem to have very cool EBMM stock.

So, you're going with rosewood. Ohh well.:eek:;) You'd be happy with either maple or rosewood. It's going to be one cool lookin' guitar.

Congrats! I'm sure you'll be happy. Black Cherry Burst looks fantastic on the Axis.

it looks pretty damn good on the AL too!

I was already to chime in with Maple until Foggy posted those awesome pics.

The reason I prefer the maple on my Als is because I prefer the feel of that neck in my hand - I keep feeling that it was made for me - it's awesome!

Oh and BTW I feel that we should also have a BCB Club :rolleyes:
