OK guys...sorry for the thread resurrection but today this thread has come full circle with the delivery of my brand spankin' new Silhouette Special! Thanks again for all the votes...and to those who voted for the maple neck...you guys were right all along!
Tangerine Pearl is such a fantastic color and no pic I've seen of it so far has done it any justice...plus, it's tailor made for a maple neck. I'll post pics as soon as I get around to...

For non matching HS, and white pearloid, I vote maple.

I do like Tangerine Pearl.

I would maybe choose rosewood with a matching HS, but maple works for me.

Gotta love the tangerine pearl! I've got a tangerine pearl JP6. It's a tough color to photograph. You definitely have to see it in person to appreciate its beauty.
