Thanks for all of the suggestions. My wife still doesn't understand why I want to name a bass. And, I'm sort of used to marriage so I probably won't name it after a TV hottie.

Blondie sounds good. But then there is also "Conan" the barbarian bass.

I don't really set out to name my basses. I do have one called Heinz, due to the attractive color of the finish.

It suggested itself, though.

I call it "my bass." Sometimes I call it "the Bongo" because that's what it is.

Names generally don't happen here.
