Hey everyone, I just joined the forum so go easy on me as this is my first post!

I'm from the UK so getting a lovely JP signature with a figured top seems to be just about impossible unless I want to pay more money than I have in import duty when once in a blue moon one comes up on eBay. I have always loved the look of Mr Petrucci's signature and having got to sit down and properly play a JP6 a little while back I fell in love! Unfortunately I'm a huge sucker for a beautiful guitar, and while they are all lovely in their own way, I greatly prefer a figured top to a plain top like the model I played. So that's why I'm after spending all of my spare money on what I can only imagine is a super limited top of the range run! Specifically one like the guitar in this video here:
, which I cannot find any information on at all other than: it's a Ball Family Reserve and it has 6 strings (I'm very observant as you can tell). I also love the look of the models used in this video:
, but again I can't find the model/finish of this particular run.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Model, finish, year, if it's discontinued, rough estimate price for one preowned and anything else you might know. If I can find out the model and finish I can have a local-ish store order one in for me and be closer to owning that dream guitar!

Thanks guys! :)

The first video was a limited run of the BFR JP in blue, available exclusively through Guitar Center.

The JPs in the second video look like they are Cherry Burst BFRs with roasted necks, not something normally available

Thank you very much! I can see that getting my hands on the first one is going to be incredibly difficult then with there only being 50! Thank you, I will email my store and see if they can get anything like that in :)

Thanks Kevin!

Well I'll be graduating from university before too long and I think it's time I ah - 'settled down' with a guitar I'll love and cherish forever! :p

Cheers,

Ben
