I'm an Italian bass player, and I'm going to buy an Ernie Ball bass. I've not decided yet, but I think I will buy a 4 strings Sting Ray...
Can anyone tell me if there are downloadable sound
examples of the Bongo model? I never heard of it before, but
it looks cool...what about its sound?

There's some on our web page (my playing sucks but the sound is fine), Alvabass has a lot of cool playing on his site and I think bovinehost has livev ideo with him playing a Bongo.

If you mean me, I use an Aguilar AG500 and HH Bongo 5. No eq used anywhere...

Well, unfortunately the samples in my website weren't recorded with my Bongo (I didn't have it at that time) but I recorded some sound samples as soon as I got it trying to show the versatility of this superb instrument. Right now I'm leaving, so I'll post a link for downloading them tonight.
