i've tried a couple of amps and i find that a G-K is the best sounding amp with a Stingray. I use the 1001Rb Mark II with an 800 watt RBX 410 cab

Look in your owners manual and see what the specs are for your amp.

He doesn't have an amp yet, he's looking to get an amp, but doesn't wanna drop the coin on a Mark Bass, because he can't afford it.

You guys have any other bass amp choices, that are a bit more reasonable?

I would suggest the G-k Rb400 or 700 combos then. they are very maleable and from playing my Stingray through a friends they sound like smaller, less maleable versions of My 1001.

I was playing a Ashdown about 2 weeks ago and it jsut doesn't feel right with the stingray. i also didn't really like Trace Elliot so i say go G-K and you'll be happy. anything not backline should serve you well.

not under any circumstances should you do this. don't even joke about that.

you can play Guitar through a bass amp though as i frequently do

See now your busting my ballz man??

It can be down though with no harm, an amp is an amp right?

What about the GK MB 210 will that do?

ya that should work out for you fine.

to the other guy you physically can plug a bass into a guitar amp and at low volumes it might not damage it but a Guitar amp is not built for the frequencies that a bass uses and therefore there is a large chance you will eventually blow the speaker
