I think someone already had a problem like this, but I couldn't find the thread.

I have a JP6 and the little E string seems to be cutting into the wood behind the nut. There is a little scratch from it already. I can't keep it tuned without it going flat every time I do a bend, it also keeps popping out of the tuning peg.
Some advice would be great.

Can you take a close up picture of the headstock...I wanna see the nut and the tuning machine...It may be as simple as how you have the string put on.

I'll post a picture of it later, I know I put the string in right, I have put a new set of strings on it a couple of times now. But it just started popping out of the tuning machine today.

When you say the string is popping out of the tuner, you mean the string is physically slipping out and coming off?

Is the locking device stripped out? Do you wind your string a couple of times around the post before you lock it?
