HELP!

Just received a Tremolo Expression and plugged it in and immediately sounded awesome but when I went to plug my korg tunner in and tune my guitar after I then tried the pedal and nothing for sound. So I picked it up to assess the plugs were in all the way and heard a giggle from inside. Took back off and a very small hook like piece of metal came out.

Any thoughts on what just happened?
