Here are some sneak peaks of the new tuners. Here is what makes them swingin:

Uses 20:1 gear ratio for same feel at Schaller tuner
Slightly "twised" peghead for ergonomic feel
Lightweight design (close to half the weight of the Schaller tuner, about 1/2 lb savings on 5-string)
Easy change peghead, so we could make more peghead options (pearl, maybe a clover style?)
Semi-enclosed design aesthetically pleasing, but allows worm to be greased and protected.
Low profile post should eliminate need for string retainer

Very "Futuristic" looking
Do they have designated sides of the headstock that they need to be on (e.g. E-A-D, left/h/s and a mirror image for the G string, right/h/s) or are they like the standard tuners in the respect that there all of the same shape with the key reversed ?

very nice

Looks like a lot of thought went into those

I like the design but also the 1/2 pound savings on a 5 string!

I like what I see so far. Very cool about the weight savings too! Looking forward to having a bass with them on it soon.

I really like the tuners. But I really want to see the rest of that "third quarter" bass that they'll be sitting on too.

I know, BP, a little at a time... I'll wait. Thanks for the preview!
