Well, once more I'm back among the land of EBMM. In this case I should have tried one of these long before now - I've owned an Albert Lee with MM-90s and that didn't work out for me, nor did a really extraordinary 2012 AL HH PDN I picked up back in December. But while I've also had a few SSS Silo Specials I never did really try out an SSS AL.

Cut forward to early June - I wandered into the local Guitar Center; they have gotten really into EBMMs these days, and hanging on the wall was this tobacco burst SSS AL with a flamey maple neck; it's been on an "extended tryout" since then but it's not going back.;)

Of course photos so you know it exists - sorry for the crappy quality; I'll try to get some better ones later:

I happen to Love that! I also like the HH ones, but just cause of the rosewood, and playing along to Iron Man with its sound ( the rosewood did not make it feel Dark either, just perfect)!

I'm getting both, they are just too perfect to ignore! Not soon, but whenever I get my good QC job/lottery ticket in! (No hurry since I've got a real nice firebird w/zhangbucker pups). I had ordered it before I tested the AL-SSS else I'd have the AL for SURE! And keeping it stock, no problema.

Thanks guys! I've had this in-house since June 3; it moved up to #1 on the depth chart pretty quickly.
