Well, ...I wrote above my vote for a Candy Apple Red already, ...but now I remember Jack's Lambo Orange Burst reflex!

Candy apple red is a nice color. Classic. awesome. There are so many good colors to choose from. Personally though I think MM's translucent colors take the cake. Though, Lava Pearl is a nice color too...

This isn't even close, the newest honey burst is crushing it, mostly because of the neck, headstock combo with the finish, the whole package. If you're just looking at body, then its closer

I used to like natural and (semi) transparent finishes. Couldn't stand bursts, thought they were the definition of boooring.

Then honey- and cherry-burst instruments started sowing doubts in my mind.

After having bought a vintage sunburst FL SR5, and noticing how damn stylish it is, I'm shocked to find that I'm actually starting to like that even more than my trans red.

Shocked, I tell you! :D

Update: Here it is, btw.

Surprised no one has mentioned Venitian Redburst from the 25th. That was a special one.

Turquoise Pearl would be my second.

oh, I like the finish just fine. I also like many other fine things and have kinda over extended on the latest GAS binge.

Almost forgot about true gold. Most gas I've ever had was for a true gold rosewood neck sterling 5HS. No money otherwise it would have been mine.

Now, it depends on the bass, but to keep it simple:

- 2012 PDN Honey Burst (and I had promised myself to never own one of those fugly bursts ... )
- Tangerine Pearl with the light pg (white? light grey?)
- Candy Apple Red
- Blue Dawn
- Dargie Delight

Hope to incorporate Dargie Delight II in this list. Very curious indeed.

best,
bert
