Hey Bassmonkee, what recording software did you use to record your mp3's with? Youve kind of insprired me to do some of my on with my sterling. I ran my tascam cd bass trainer throug my soundcard on my computer and it sounds pretty decent, ( I nearly blew my speakers out  ) But I think I may experiment with my sm-900 to see if I can run a line out signal to my soundblaster card to get a cleaner more controllable sound.

Thanks

John

That's either the fretless Bongo into my old GK1001RB, or my VBass running an emulator into a Tascam 788 digital 8 track. I then tranferred to SoundForge and added a bit of compression. No effects, though.

I've never tried to run directly to a sound card, so I don't know if that'll work or not.

Good luck, though--we need some more sound files posted here! :D
