I simply run both of mine off a Danelectro 18V adapter - the tonal differences are subtle, but there: basically, I think running them on 18V results in a crisper, more open tone with greater note seperation and clarity - less compression, more "breadth" if you will...

Hmm good to know. I'd like to try that but I don't have another place for an 18v plug on my board, I'm running with a pedal power 2....this thing sounds great tho, very transparent. It takes the 2nd channel on my Koch Multitone into the stratosphere...

I'm running it on the vintage setting with the boost and overdrive cranked and the tone about 1 oclock, I'm also running it on the boost mode. Nice warm dirty crunch on the clean channel of my Koch.

As an aside I think it's funny how you get dudes buying these things thinking they're Instant JP tone/ Recto's in a box.So if thats what you're thinking from reading this...that's not waht you're getting...but I will say it's what my setup has been missing for a long time. Nice in between tones...

I have an ADL JuiceBox. One of the outputs is switchable to run at 9v or 18v.

My son has a Pedal Power 2. You have to have a "Y" connector to run 18v off the PP2. It takes up 2 of the outputs.

I find that it adds more clarity (i.e. less fuzz).

Click here to see what the Fulltone site says about running at 18v:

Yeah I read that, I may have to Y it up and try and run it that way...sounds great tho run normally. Not too over the top just a nice warm, round tone.
