Any more LEs coming out like they used to? I remember you once said you'd bring them back eventually? I know there's a lot of stuff going on with the JP12, Axis Tributes, roasted maples, etc... But I miss that anxiety of eagerly awaiting for this year's LE colour. That was such a fun rush!

Sorta like this one!

Yes, the limited editions are now the special BFR-runs(not the production BFRs but the special ones) as well as the PDN-guitars.

For instance;
2012 is the PDN "Honey Roasted", which had Honey Burst with Roasted Maple Neck.
2011 was the BFR "Roasted Maple", which had Black Sugar with Roasted Maple Neck.

Both of those were limited editions, they just didn't have the year at the 12th fret like the limited editions you are talking about but they both were limited, had an exclusive finish as well as other special specifications.

Its not an LE with an inlay, but I'm pretty sure this was the "LE" for 2012, Special Edition..........honeyburst, Pao Ferro Fretboard, SS Frets, matching headstock. I have an Special Edition AXIS SS on order, can't wait.

Yep, those are limited edition. I ordered the JP model, it is truly the best guitar in the world for me personally. I already have a JP6 in Mystic Dream and it is superior to any other guitar I've played. And now with that simple natural look, it allows has the great aesthetic value :)

I'm getting it by end of August, can't wait!

Well, nice woods are great, and I'm sure the team have their hands full. I was just remniscing on the times when the entire forum was alive with speculations on that year's colour, and then you see the mad rush to order, especially when the colours are amazing, and then waiting for first sight of a real example in an owner's hands... What a fun rush!

Ahhh, solid gold! Wow, even nicer. Somehow they look chrome in the picture, although looking at the bridge, I can see it as gold now which would make sense.

Connections can be soooo nice to have.
