I just have to add my story of last week:
I've now had my SR5 for a few months and since the first day and first gig I took it to, everyone has consistently been impressed and gushing over their love of EB MusicMan StingRay basses. Last week I was doing some rehearsals for a gig with a singer here in the Great White North and as we started practice, the keyboardist/producer friend of the singer just started gushing about his love for the SR5 "It's the best bass on the planet!"[sic] then later that week at the gig the singer/leader/boss came over and said how at rehearsal when he heard the bass he thought "that's my sound! that's the sound of bass I love" and is so excited that we'll have this bass on his next recording...
So there you go Derek, please let everyone in the shop know, that yet again they've done a great job and you know you've done something really right when non-bassists but rather the people hiring the bassists and recording the bassists gush over how they love the sound of a EB MusicMan SR!
any similar stories out there?? I'm sure there's a load.

ps.I wasn't meaning to blow my horn in the aforementioned story but rather the horn of Sterling and everyone lese at EB MusicMan
