In honor of The Dude and his tongue blessings to each and every bass that ships out of VBTC, I have now instructed our international shippers to spank each pallet before it leaves the factory. Naughty naughty pallets. They are just too good-looking and have sweet rumps to not give 'em a firm smack on the bottom before they go out into the world.

Sorry, last day before vacation. Going a little cuckoo here. Also, what timing I have, going on vacation just as all of our last non-RoHS compliant shipments are leaving, sheesh!

Yup, and that's how my licking basses thing started. Rudy Sarzo was my first published interview in Bassics Magazine and I asked him why he was always licking his basses while with Whitesnake...the rest is history. Rudy has been a good friend ever since.

Hmmmm don't know..that was shot at this year's "Bass Bash" at NAMM in January. Rudy was just about ready to go on with Brian Bromberg but I don't know who that was holding the bass.
