Sure hope Koogs and OC make it to the show. It'll be worth it many times over.

You'll be inspired for weeks.

I haven't been there yet. I only work about 4 blocks away.

They seem to be getting quite a few decent acts since the opening. I had been to the original Ram's Head in Annapolis, but this is much more convenient living only 10 minutes from downtown.

I plan on being there for the show. I trying to see if the wife wants to go or if I'll be going solo. Being a GA show she may not want to go.

If anyone else from the forum is planning on going let me know and we can try to meet before the show.

GA standing?

Cause that ain't no fun no matter how good the band is. No place to put your beer, or your coat, etc. Better to see them an hour away if possible with somewhere to sit.

Yeah buddy, good old general admission. Stand in line for hours only to stand through the show. I gave up on those kind of shows with Van Halen back in '82.

It's the only reason I didn't go see Dream Theater earlier this year in DC at the 9:30 Club. I heard it was like a sardine can.

I'll have to check the schedule but this may be my best shot at catching him, standing or not.

At the LA show they did in January, most of the crowd stood in front of the stage.

We, however, were seated up above with a fantastic view of the stage, absolute perfect sound mix, and food that was unbelievably good. From the appetizers we had to the swordfish and filet mignon!

Maybe that club near you has a dinner thing too? Standing that long is too much for back and knees. At least, my back and knees.

Hope you can see them Fred.

I am thinking about flying to Fatlanta for the show but right now things are not looking favorable towards that end.

Swordfish and filet mignon... damn that's quite a night out for a concert...

Yeah tell me about it. Like I said it used to be nothing back when I was young to leave the house at 7 in the morning to wait in the rain for a show at 8 that night. We thought nothing of that then.

These 43 year old knees and back are another thing though... I'd hate to miss this so I'll probably end up going anyhow. Like I said the venue is only about 10 minutes from my house. I'm sure I'd be kicking myself that night about 10 if I didn't go.

Yeah, dinner was excellent. Best club food ever. It was called the KEY CLUB.

If I was you, and the club is that close, and you've never been there, I'd go check it out before hand. Maybe there's some seats somewhere. Like next to the sound guy :D

HOW ABOUT ANOTHER WEST COAST TOUR!!!!!!!!!!

Shocking!!  We need aleast 5 tours (with Dregs/SMB) this year alone. I've only seen them 4 times. Couple of dozen times more wouldn't hurt I suppose.
