This is Bobbo 77,
I've got to know the answere to his question before I can make my next move. If I had to replace a Pre-amp or pick-up, which of the two would make more of a tonal diference in my bass. Unplugged, the bass is very vibrant, but through Eden metro it just doesn't cut it. It's a 91', and I'd hate to shell out the money for both when replacing one will do. Does the Pre make the tone, or is it the pick-up?
Thanks,
Bobbo 77

It's really a combination, but if we had to choose we would really want to hear the bass first. If we could decide what isn't sounding right, the decision would be easier.

What is missing from the sound?

Thanks,
Greg
