Cheap Asian parts assembled to some degree in the US - they look suspiciously like OLPs or the Dillion EB/MM knockoffs that were around for a while... Anyway, in a world where I can score a used Axis Sport on eBay for $400-$500, they are definitely not worth the asking price, imho...

can you trademark a design for guitars ?
I know fender you can knock off with no probs for some reason
but OLP has a contract to copy the design of the axis.

Also, I wonder about the customer service and quality of the guitar.

If you look closely at the burgandy/wine quilt, it looks like someone got stain on the binding. (bottom left)

You can notice it to a lesser degree on the amber quilt as well.

They are using them for advertising so it makes me wonder.

Details.

yeah... aren't they kinda cheesy for the price? idk i thought about it some more and realized how stupid they are. not only the 3 day warrantee but also the 1/32" quilt top? idk... i'd rather get an olp. i just wanted to see what you guys thought about them... and if it was legal for them to be making them.

God bless,

I actualy read some articles saying that they were ok for the price.
