hey guys, when were the music man john petrucci ignature 7 string released?

I was curious as to when the john petrucci 7 string hit stores, it is to my knowledge that the jp6 came out in mid 2000- and the 7 string followed suit releasing in january of 2001. is this correct? i tried all over the info to find out my found no results!

Both the 6 and 7 string models hit the streets in mid-2001.

anybody got an exact date? i have a jp7 stamped 1/14/01 in the neck pocket and if they came out mid 2001 then it might be a prototype?

It's probably a NAMM show piece unless I got my years mixed up. My JP6 is one of the first 100 and is hand signed on the headstock where the silk screen normally is. It was mfg june 15. Check www.thepetcollection.net I think Ernie who collects the JP guitars has the dates up there.
