Hey guys, I'm new here. My name is Will, and I'm a 15 year old guitarist from Halifax, NS, Canada. I first played an EB back in March, L&M Halifax had a sparkly Silo hardtail (owned by "Lenny" now, I think), and I fell in love right away. Needless to say, I decided that I wanted one, and I'd start saving. Well, finally, I'm close to having enough for my own, and at somepoint in the coming weeks, I'm going to head to L&M to order my own Silo (Candy Red, Maple, Trem, White Pearloid pg). Can't wait to become a Ball owner!

Cheers.

Hey Will- welcome to the forum! Another Canuck. L&M usually has a good stock ... sounds like you'll love it.

Congrats on saving up your money. Be sure to get what you want because it will be a keeper, for a long time...the first ones usually are!

Another canucklehead?

Welcome to the forums! Pics when that candy red Silo arrives. Here's a little teaser for you. This is my wife's Silo in exactly the configuration you want!

Hey Will,

You live where I live! Well, close enough anyway :p Good call on the Silo, they are great guitars. I'm not sure if you'd be interested, but I'm in the process of selling one of my JP6's. It's in Carbon blue with crazy birdseye on the neck! I've been trying to sell it locally, and I've had quite a few bites, but it's still up for grabs. If you are interested, just fire me a PM--I have tonnes of high quality pictures available.

I don't mean to make the impression that I am some sort of salesman or anything, though! I just wanted to give you a heads up since the JPs are normally very expensive, but I have a reasonable price on mine that you might be interested in. No harm in trying all the different balls you can :D

Welcome to the forums though, and you'll be happy when you finally get a Ball! I was your age when I got my first JP 4 years ago, and I never looked back ;)
Hey there, I saw your JP on Kijiji, it's a beautiful guitar. If I don't end up getting the Silo, expect a PM or email from me.

Yep, I'm 52 and I'm still playing one I got when I was 16 (not a MM, but I did use Slinky strings back then). Welcome to the forum!

My young apprentice, you have taken your first step down a much wiser path. Once a youngster like yourself, I too saved penny upon penny to buy my first ball. A green EVH, which I sold last year for multiple times what I paid. While I do miss seeing "old Bessie", I now let all the honeys light my cigars for me while we're hot tubbin'.
