However, yours is a lefty, might that bring the wait up ?

No...the lefty factor has nothing to do with it. Music Man doesn't make guitars and basses until there is an order, so they are literally building you a guitar from the ground up...it's not a mass produced cookie cutter thing.

I've seen wait times longer than what I was quoted so just hang tight....it will be worth the wait...trust me.

Even if it takes longer than a couple weeks it will be well worth the wait. Maybe L&M has one inbound already? That's just me speculating, though.

i would say that average is 3 months. I ordered my Dargie II BFR on July 21 and I'm told that it should be shipped any day now. We are at the 3 month mark. Right on time.

congrats!!

wish I too could get the EBMM I was dreaming of,
the problem is, prices over here costs twice!

and the cost of living here is very high, :(
so its not that practical to get guitars at those price ranges,,

Well, I did get a STERLING though,
yet from its price i have to add almost 10,000php or $200+ more for the shipping, taxes and service fees damn....

:D

yeah from what i was told over in the u.k it takes 10-12 weeks approx. so you will have a bit of a wait. have you tried scouring the net for the model and specs your looking for. thats what i did twice when i wanted ebmm. and i got lucky twice. i found the exact guitar in the exact spec i wanted. worth a look as from what ive read the guitar you want . isnt a real rarety. i.e the colour and pickguard choice. but if you dont find one i can assure you there worth the wait. and once you have one i bet you will want another ebmm. good luck.

Oh I've already found the EBMM I want next . However, on my travels yesterday, I tried out one of the Vox Night Train heads, and rest assured, had I not put money down on the Silo, I would have walked out with it. That's my next purchase, THEN another EBMM :D.

if your lucking at the vox try a balckstar ht5 if u can find one. basically the same idea. a tiny valve amp head combo. but they sound better and are quite a bit cheaper.

Hey Will,

You live where I live! Well, close enough anyway :p Good call on the Silo, they are great guitars. I'm not sure if you'd be interested, but I'm in the process of selling one of my JP6's. It's in Carbon blue with crazy birdseye on the neck! I've been trying to sell it locally, and I've had quite a few bites, but it's still up for grabs. If you are interested, just fire me a PM--I have tonnes of high quality pictures available.

I don't mean to make the impression that I am some sort of salesman or anything, though! I just wanted to give you a heads up since the JPs are normally very expensive, but I have a reasonable price on mine that you might be interested in. No harm in trying all the different balls you can :D

Welcome to the forums though, and you'll be happy when you finally get a Ball! I was your age when I got my first JP 4 years ago, and I never looked back ;)
Curse you :D. I want your JP. I played a Carbon Blue one like yours back in February or so, and I really liked it then. Is it possible that it's the same one?

There is a good probability that it was--I think that was around the time when I bought the guitar.

I am cursing myself as well to be honest--I would love to keep it, but having 3 JPs is a little much, especially when my Dargie II and the Carbon Blue are very similar in features. I mean, it plays amazing and has the tone to match, so there isn't much more I can ask for. But at the same time, I ordered the DD2 for a reason, and I just can't part with my MD which has been my baby since I was your age.

That said, I'll check my PMs! I was away on the weekend, so I apologize for my delay in response.
Well, continue to check your PM's/Email. I'm not easily swayed :D.
