thanks for all the warm welcomes...the only mod this is getting is a new pickguard. The stock hummers are really nice and can't see changing them.

You got that right, the SUB1 pickups are great.

I like. The SUB1s were cool, but I never cared much for the diamond/metal pickguards.

Welcome! What color is the guitar? I can't quite tell from the pics, but it looks like graphite. If so, then I'm not a fan of the brown PG (to each his own I guess). Are you going to make your own PG, or order from somewhere? If ordering and you need a jpg template, let me know. I had a new diamondplate PG made for my dual HB trem Sub several months ago...

thanks Mike, its black actually. I ordered a pg from Tony @ Pickguardian, he makes EBMM guards. I sent him an accurate tracing. If he needs something else, I'll pm ya...

Ah - then I think the brown will work well....it will match the black satin neck/rosewood combo. Very nice. I assume you already know you have to post pics when it's done.
