Hey Jon.....(JP 7 pickup change)

I'm thinking about replacing the bridge pickup in my JP 7 for another Dimarzio (Blaze custom). My question is should I connect the pickup at the board (I'd rather not) or wire to wire under the white rubber housing? And will doing this void my warranty ? Thanks.

What white rubber housing?? And yes it will void your warranty.

"white rubber housing"- wrong description, I mean white insulation that covers the wires before they are split and soldered onto the board.
