1. what is the original spring position On EBMM Axis(Floyd Rose). from the neck to bridge direction should be < or >? will it harm the guitar if I add another spring on it to make it "III" shape? There are 5 smaller holes and there bigger holes, which ones should i use for placing springs?

2.(another newbie question)i just changed the springs to .10 regular slinky. got a lot of buzz on the fretboard. I did reset it up for hours. (didnt work!!! )where I should start? i guess you would say the bridge, where exactly, please.

Thank you very much!

Run the springs in parallel, not in a v-config. You might need to adjust your truss rod a hair, but not too much. You're fine with 10's with this kind of config.

I wouldn't recommend a 4th spring or V config until you go to 12's (which I just did on a guitar a few days ago).

Check your neck relief, and you should be good to go.

They come from the factory in a /\ shape You can do III but even with 10's the /\ will work fine, you may just have to tighten the trem claw slightly

Nevermind. I thought we were talking about three springs here.

Stick to the same config, you should be fine, even with 10's. Just adjust your truss rod for proper neck relief and you'll be fine.

I'm assuming we're talking about 47mm springs?

Thank you Jaxadam and Jon as well!

But I have never done this kinda setup job before...So I just came up another newbieish question---to which direction is to go for relief? clockwise?

No...If you want relief, go counter clockwise (left if you are looking at the headstock from the bridge.)
