Hey Knuckleheads! Want to Make you & your JP 6, 7, or BFR the STAR of a Magazine Ad?
Ok Knuckleheads, back to the college advertising project. Remember the group "Perfect Pitch" that had the question about the "community feeling" from owning a Music Man guitar. Well, the overwhelming response to that question and others in their research has led them down the creative avenue to include you and your JP guitar in their ad campaign. I think this a brilliant approach to their campaign. The community feeling in the forum is absolutely amazing. From each one of you knuckleheads to BP himself, it has amazed me personally ever since I've been hanging around this forum, and guess what; the survey results overwhelmingly reflect it. So, that said, here's what the group "Perfect Pitch" is proposing for you guys to take part in:
CONTEST FOR EBMM JP 6, JP 7, and JP BFR OWNERS
Hello Knuckleheads,
How would you like to make your guitar the star of a magazine ad? We're one of those advertising student groups from Professor Dreamrycher's advertising class and we need your help with our campaign for EBMM. We really like what we see users post and talk about on the forum and want to draw from you, the EB community, for our campaign.
This is a contest for knucklehead forum members to help us create magazine guitar ads with your personal touch!
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION:
DIGITAL PICTURE
- A picture of your JP6, JP7, or JP BFR guitar (or all of them), with or without you in the photo.
- Your picture must be a high-resolution digital picture featuring you and your guitar, or your guitar alone (JP6, JP7, or JP BFR), which should at least have the dimensions of 2550 x 3300 pixels (8.5 x 11”) and 300 dpi if possible.
-We encourage you to be as creative as you want to with your digital photos. The picture can be manipulated in Photoshop if you so choose, but not the guitar.
TESTIMONIAL
-Your city and state are required.
-Your first name and EBMM screen name are required.
-For the body of your testimonial, write why the EBMM JP 6, JP7, or BFR (or all of them), is the guitar of your dreams, where “guitar of my dreams” will be a required line to use in the writing. At least a paragraph is required for the testimonial submission.
Please send your submissions by November 30, 2007, to [email protected].
Thank you for your participation!
