Hi Guys,

I hit the forum every day and have posted a few times. I had a pink EVH that I sold(made some $$$$$), and a Sil Special that I kick myself in the butt everyday for selling. The Sil was the perfect guitar for me; super comfortable to hold and my favorite pickup combo of HSS.

With the Silo Bass, were there just not very many of them made? I have been wanting to get my hands on one for several years now and have never actually seen one in person. I've seen a lot and owned several EBMM guitars, (Mostly Silo's and Specials), but to date I have never seen a Silo Bass other than a picture.
I'll take a shot at this...

The Silhouette Bass is still in production, but because it's somewhat of a niche instrument, they probably don't make many more than are ordered by dealers or individuals (through dealers).... So they are so rare by nature of their unconventionality - ie: they're too different for most of us... I would love to try one myself, but I imagine you pretty much would have to order one to get one to play, which probably makes them even harder to sell...

I think it would be really, really cool if they knocked off 10 Silo Bass guitars with graphics as prizes in a future Battle of the Bands or Emergenza... That would get these unique instruments in the hands of some young, deserving and creative musicians! ;)

You could be right. Personally, I think they would probably sell a lot better if there were more out there for players to try out. Of course that's just a gut feeling.

I'm at the "round" number 1 right now, with #2 on order :)

I'm at the round number 1 as well...Tommy, if you're at 5, you may as well "round up" to ten...

I'm looking forward to #2...same options as Tommy!

Hello,

I've been lurking around the forums almost daily since April, but didn't sign-up until now. In early May, I purchased an Axis in Natual finish. I've owned Wolfgangs before, but I believe the EB/MM guitars are a bit better. The hardware is better in quality and the body design is a bit nicer looking when viewed next to each other. Plus, its the original guitar that Peavey successfully copied. Nice to go to the original source.

Last week, I made my best purchase ever. I bought a JP7 Buttercream 2005 Limited Edition. This is absolutely an amazing instrument. I ordered it from www.indoorstorm.com out of NC. Their customer service, price, and two day delivery were top notch. As of this writing, they still have one JP6 just like it. Someone should snag it quickly!

Thanks for making great products and backing them up.

JP Buttercream
