For some reason I was almost as excited about Jack's bass as he was... (key word "almost"). It was my pleasure to meet Jack, he's a very funny guy and 'real" if you know what I mean.

You can believe that I get exactly how cool all of this is. I don't take any of this for granted, and I know precisely how lucky I have been over the last few months, culminating this last weekend.

I'm still too wired up to think about Open House being over. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to express how much fun I had, how many new friends I have, how much I drank, how many times I hugged Luke or the joys of kissing Sterling's sweaty head when he came off stage Saturday night.

As I asked Ben about a thousand times on the flight home Sunday, "Did you see my new Bongo?"
