Awesome, I played one just like that except with a maple board last night...I can't say enough how awesome it is. Any ETA on mine Pete? ;)

Um, Rex moved. He's living at my house. Yeah, that's it - he's, um, in the guest bedroom.

You need my address, Pete?

Please stop trying to distract me - I'm having enough problems dithering over a bongo or a 25th

Looks nice though...

Thanks for posting this Pete.

My Big Al is Vintage Sunburst with a Rosewood fretboard too, but I ordered mine with a matching headstock and a black pickguard.
Next month baby!

can anyone who's played one comment on the overall feel of the Big AL. i read a lot about the cool tones and electronics and realize the neck is 1.5" at the nut. Does it hang and play like a Sterling? more like the Bongo? i know, it's all subjective.

Interesting, eye-catching design. I'll be looking forward to playing one.

Might there be any plans to introduce the 2-way push button active/passive selector (perhaps as a push/pull pot) as an option for Bongos?
