Even with all the unbelievable BFR's that have been shipping there are apparently some nice tops still available for the garden variety guitars...

My new Axis SS arrived today and I couldn't be happier. This top sucks!!! ;)

Honey Burst, rosewood, natural headstock...

Many thanks to EBMM and Pete Dub!!! I'm in love again. And this thing sounds killer though the Stiletto, crunchy or clean.

I never doubted the supply of premium wood. That is one sweet top u have!

My A.S.S. is standard...but it has one of the nicest quilts on it.

Congrats Fred!
That's a beauty!!!!!
BP had said that because of the BFRs that the chances of getting a great top had increased as opposed to decreased since they were buying larger quantities of the good stuff!!!!
I bet she sounds as nice as she looks! :)

Fred man congrats!!! Great looking guitar, especially with the non-matching headstock. :)

Killer, honeyburst is awesome.

Love the Rosewood fretboard with the honeyburst too. They go very well together.

Can we see a pic of the back of the neck? Is it of equal sucky-ness?

And does that mean there's possibly plenty of potential BFR-type quality birdseye maple available as well?
