I'm up in Scotland (Bathgate) next week for a couple of days then up again from March 5 - March 30 - 20 days in Bathgate. Isn't life great!

You are correct, sir! In fact, I don't recall ever seeing a single one. Maybe Strummer has seen something in Stockholm?

Now, on my mother's side.. they were innkeepers and beer brewers for many generations down near the Black Forest of Germany. In fact, the Inn that my great-great-great grandparents owned in the mid 1800's in Gruol (Haigerloch), Baden-Württemberg is still in business. I'm not sure if it's still owned by anyone related to me though. I'm told by a resident of Gruol that the inn (called "The Crown") is over 300 years old!

My children have Irish blood by way of my mother-in-law who is 50% Irish. (Well, half of her is a mixture of Irish and Scots-Irish.) Maybe there will be a Bloomquist tavern yet!
