OMG!!! you have my fav colour and its matching headstock!! noooooo sell it to me sell it to me !!!! ;)

But then I wouldn't have one.:(

I bought it from poorlefty over at the Dudepit. Looking at Psycho Ward's profile, I'm surprised he didn't buy it first (although he was busy buying his natural Sterling fretless at that same time:)).

bbl... present! :)

Wow! that is a very rare piece...I would guess that it was made for a NAMM or Frankfurt show...How about firing the Ser # to us or giving us the history. I am pretty sure that it is a one of a kind

Lefty here - apart from bass playing which is the only thing I do right handed (braces himself for the rip taking:rolleyes: )
Was to do with school - my first bass teacher could not understand why I wanted to play left handed and made me learn the double bass right handed.
(I dont know if it was the same in the states but here in the UK there was a policy of making pupils write right handed back in the 70s and early 80. Thankfully those days are gone.)

Not me.....

I'm not a lefty. But BOTH of my kids are!

And both are aspiring young bass players.

Guess I will be paying extra for any basses I buy for them!

Lefty here too.

Unfortunately I do not have any EB/MMs in the closet right now (I have had a whole lot of them). . .

Waiting for PIEZOS to be available in Bongos.

A trabajar, muchachos.

Actually, I believe it was ordered through a Guitar Center in Michigan, but the customer wanted lines, so it sat on GC's floor. Poorlefty found it there. I think the serial # starts with 02. I'll post the exact serial # when I get a chance.

Hi BP,

OK, just 17 months later, I'm coming through with the serial number. It's L02026.:)

Like I said before, the only thing I "know" is that it was found on a GC floor in Michigan.

Is there a story behind this bass? Truly a one of kind?

Hi bbl,

Thanks for the serial number after all this time!

I checked it and it was compled in May of 2002 (on the 2nd of May, a big revolutionary holiday in Spain, actually, tee hee) and was originally shipped to Guitar Center in Roseville, Michigan. I wonder if someone ordered it and then backed out of the sale. Those EXACT specs are probably one-of-a-kind, but there could be other Trans-Green Leftys out there. Enjoy!!!

All the best,
Beth :)
