Actually, for "scratch and dent" pieces these bongos were described as being in surprisingly great condition... I'm working my way through the list but I was actually scheduled today so I had to you know, work... Ha! And just to clear up any confusion, I am simultaneously searching for the remaining ROSEWOOD NECK basses, however they ARE NOT on clearance. Mainly just hard to find. I have found them though so let me know if you missed out on that priced piece. And says we have NOS Anniversary basses, but they are not as easy to locate as the 20th silos, so hopefully tomorrow I will have tracked them down.

Oh, and BP, on my product list, it has 2 "anniversary" basses that have "GC45" in the id code... any ideas what these are? I'm thinking they could be the 20ths... they are bursts.

Many solid Rosewood neck basses brand new in a box will be on sale at Bass Player Live this weekend at an extra great price!

So the stealth bongo is quite literally, a bust. Apparently it has been dropped at some point and the body is cracked from the bridge to the input jack. That's such a shame... More hunting tomorrow and an update, I promise! Will include pics of my store's clearance pieces as well including the rosewood necked 5er and a natural SR4 HS that is pretty saucy! Check back!

Damn that is sad. I never took a close look at, much less try it.

I believe so... But La Mesa has 2 clearance bongos. I asked about the stealth black bongo, and the guy said, "the clearance one?" and I said yes. But the other bongo there is saph black, so I will clarify as soon as I can.

tommixx, rumor has it, there are BUT I am still trying to locate them... I have an email in to Glen and the distribution center about finding them. If they are located, you will be the first to know. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

The other day it was tagged at $599 and today at $719. The crack is from under the bridge at the G corner and around the back to, and probably into, the control cavity. The is a significant "finish" crack from the butt near the strap button and halfway to the neck.

Sad.
