From the 'Tone" of these reviews, I would surmise that these reviewers may have been dealing with some other much more serious issues, "falling down and hittings one head" comes to mind........ I think empathy may be the call here
I'm all for empathy for those who have suffered through no fault of their own, but I rather seriously doubt that this is what we're dealing with here.
I think it's probably a small-brained, jealous little piece of crap who has been excluded from the "club" due to atrophied social skills and a basic inability to get along with others. You see it elsewhere, on other forums; some guy gets all excited about the instruments (fair enough) and then gets a case of the ass because Sterling won't come mow his yard or answer 12 PMs a day.
There are enclaves of fanatics and fanboys for almost every instrument. I certainly don't get involved in trying to convince them they've made a mistake. You like your Warwick, your Gibson, your Fender, your Fodera? Good for you! But some people just can't stand it. They have to bash, they have to whine, they have to lie, they have to find some way to insert themselves in a negative fashion.
No one with any sense at all thinks this is an honest review. It's someone with an axe to grind, period.
It has nothing to do with the bass in question.
It has everything to do with a psychopathic personality - and a tiny little brain*.
