Hi everyone. I have been hanging out on the board for some time now and thought it was time to post. You definitely have a great forum here!

I'm the proud owner of a MM Sterling 4HS, which happens to be my one and only bass these days. I also play a little guitar, so I recently picked up a used Axis Super Sport. Great guitars, but you already knew that!

Well, I just wanted to take the opportunity to say hello before I started posting. It's great to have a place like this to hang out with other knowledgeable musicians. Hopefully I can add to it from time to time.

Hey, welcome! Everyone is always glad to see another afficianado of the awesome EBMM bass guitar collection here!

And yes, we'd like to see pics, and did you know...

It's a time-honored tradition, that after the 1st post, you buy a round of Ernie Ball Music Man basses for the 1st SIX respondents to your post!

Yes it's true!

I'll have a Roasted-Neck Model Big Al single-coils please; and don 't worry about the ordering window being closed and stuff, for this type of occasion it is always waived!

So welcome and enjoy the fun, and Thanks Man, really glad you hooked -Up!!

welcome. you are safe here. this is where you can get the much needed help you deserve. good thing you found a support group before it got way out of hand. thank goodness you sought help when you did with your DOUBLE addiction. we gotta give extra grace here brethren. he has to say "no" to over TWICE the temptation of a typical knucklehead that just wanted to try stingray (the gateway drug), but only a few weeks later was spotted hangin around some 6string bongos by the railroad trax in the bad part of town. i dont think its too late for you.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!

I'll try to get some pics up soon. The Sterling is black, maple with a tortoise pick guard. Nothing terribly fancy, but I have always liked that combo.

My Axis is red quilt, matching headstock with a fixed bridge. At some point I'm going to put it up for sale and upgrade to an Axis SS with a trem and piezo. Or maybe I should just save up and get one of everything!

I understand it's up to the new guy to buy a round of basses for everyone. Pick your poison and I'll see what I can do. :D
