Well, I very rarely post...as I use Mr. Koog's account....so, here it goes.

My dumb butt husband has hurt himself yet again....he has this thing about jumping out of airplanes....and, well, he was doing fine until he had a rig problem and fell some 40 ft to the ground....ouch!

He is in the hospital for overnight observation, but is doing fine. As he said, gravity sucks....and begged me not to tell anyone. So, with his account, I look at it this way....he told on himself!

So, thank God he is fine, but I had to tell someone and who better than his buddies who convince him to spend all his money on guitar stuff........

Big Poppa, I read in a past post about you wanting to witness me kicking his butt....believe me, I have several times....:p Next one will be on video tape and I will send it to you to pass around to all your friends....:D

Again, he is fine (most important), but he is still an idiot.

Mrs. K ~ As someone who was named after his dad's Navy parachuting partner whose chute didn't open...I'll personally fly out there (LMAO!) to kick his ass back into staying on the ground!

How ya' doin', Koogs! :D

Koog,
Get better buddy. Even though your wife says you'll be alright, you'll be in my prayers, mainly because I think you'll end up with more damage from her than the fall...

take care,
fred

Cool Since it was only 40 feet I bet he only had to scream once before hitting the ground.

Was there any bouncing involved.

Man I bet that hurts. It probally feels like getting hit with a planet.

Glad you're OK Koogs. Word to the Mrs.

Jeez Rich! You NEED to start taking care of yourself. If I can stop drinking everything in sight, you can stop jumping out of airplanes....even if it is for sport.

Aw man!

Mrs. K, please pass along my well wishes for
a speedy recovery.

And, since he's not around, does that mean we
can use his patented phrase w/o having to send
him royalties? :D

Holy Crap Koogs!

Thanks to the Mrs. for the update!

I don't know what's worse, falling from that high, or the Mrs kickin' your butt! :p

Koogs, if you're all feelin' good on pain killers and you really can't play, you may want to offer up a fellow forumite your guitars so that they don't collect any dust.:D
Seriously though. I hope it all works out.

Dear Mrs. Koogie,

Thanks for putting us 'in the loop' concerning Rich's accident. I'm terribly sorry to hear about it, but I'm equally relieved that he's not badly damaged.

When he can laugh about it, ask him how this impact compared to the first time he played a Bongo. ;)

If there's anything that you (Koog's family) need, don't hesitate to ask.
