Hi Mrs. Koog,

I'm right there with you. Fortunately, my husband has the good sense not to jump out of airplanes, but if he did, I would kick his sorry butt from here to eternity and back.

Koogs, sweetie, please don't be so crazy. Next thing you know, your wife will tell us that you made giant wings out of feathers and wax and you were flying too close to the sun.

hugs
Victrola

Ouch!

Koogs, my wife made me give up my motorcycle after I took a nasty spill, so I can symphathize with you if there are no more jumps.

But even if there are no more jumps, at least you've got your guitars! :)

To Mrs Koogie, take good care of him and maybe time for a new Guitar to keep him on solid ground :D

Hey ladies and gents.

I just got home after my little stint at the hospital. All is well, as I am a little sore.
First off, thanks a million to you for the kind words and wanting my wife to kick my a$$....I will remember all who said that by the way! :D

Still not sure exactly what happened, all seemed fine until the last few feet and the I accelerated to the ground, or as NorM said, "Got hit by a planet"......need to see the video, if there is any.

kbaim...I got your message. Thanks bro! I'll call you shortly.

Well, the wife has put the foot down. I am only allowed to do the following:

1. Shoot my guns at the range and the range only.
2. Play bass in the band.
3. Play guitar
4. Watch TV
5. Post here
6. Fly on airplanes strictly for visiting another place, but can only leave the plane once it is on the ground and at the terminal...hehehe...

No more jumps as this one scared her pretty bad. For that my dear, I apologize. She has been through a lot over the years and as she put it "I don't need anymore s**t like this!" So, being that she has threatened to whip me to within a inch of my life if I ever did anything like that again, I will stay grounded.

God I love her and her sense of humor....her starting this thread. Obviously, she can't keep a secret!

Funny thing is....I checked my e-mail at the hospital (we got a new cyber cafe) and sent a mail out to Steve Dude Barr about something. I only checked the mail, and went back to my room. I guess she posted this as I was shooting him the e-mail...funny how that worked out.....;)

You guys are great and I really appreciate the concern. Thanks again. You guys/gals are simply the best and very kind, what more could anyone ask?

Hey! I thought I added my cruel-jests-thinly-veiled-as-sympathies this morning! Oh well, I was at work... maybe my boss walked into my office? or the new girl from purchasing? Or maybe I forgot to post my response in a flurry of guilt over using corporate resources to pursue personal interests... nah...

Anyway, I'm glad your okay, Koogs! I'm banned from riding motorcycles in my old age, but it only took five static line jumps and a broken leg to teach me that hurling myself from a perfectly good airplane was a less than sensible past-time... Listen to your wife: because if I have to, so should you!! :D

I "hit the range" for the first time a few weeks ago. Folks in our Dallas office wanted to "welcome the Canadian" that way.

For someone who's never fired a gun, it was an odd experience. No real gun culture up here in my city, and it was weird to be around so many that were used to firing! (That and the fact that *everybody* in the office had at least one gun in their car.)

That said, it was a lot of fun. Just wouldn't want to get comfortable around the darn things ;)

i just sold my preban AR15 to get my amp  but at least i still have my USP45, that thing is a tack driver, and the thing NEVER jams or fails at all (knock on wood) i was a police cadet with a local department before i came to school, so i was spending a lot of time shooting. a couple hundred rounds each day??? thats a lot of ammo!
