Hi I'm new to the EB forum. You may have seen my first post which is more a tribute to my wife's efforts at making a Stingray cake but I thought I ought to have a post about my own MMs.

Although I only currently own a SUB that I've had made fretless

The current object of my desire is one of the new EB Sterling Ray34s in honeyburst. Oh yes it will be mine!

Welcome. It's always nice to have more UK based MM lovers!

By the way that SUB is very pretty indeed. The white SUBs *almost* look as good as the old 2005 LEs. Tort guard is very classy too. How exactly did you de-fret it? As there are no dots or anything...looks like a whole new fingerboard.

Anyways, stick around.

I had it done by The Bass Gallery in London. The frets have been replaced by maple strips and I had the original dots replaced with rosewood ones to give the clean effect you see here. It was done for not a lot of money too. I am considering refretting it though, especially if Mrs Ezbass puts her foot down over my current Ray34 GAS. What can I tell you, I'm whipped!:D

Welcome! Couple of nice basses you had there... that ES SR4 is quite stunning. And better to own a SUB than not! I think the white looks especially cool with the black headstock.
