Ah....now I see!! For a change I'm not as stupid as I thought.
Is it the 4+2 arrangement or the shape that puts it in forbidden territory?

These basses were quite big in the UK in the '80s with MarkKing type slappers.....never seen or heard of guitars from them

"They cant sell it in USA....."

....I would doubt they can sell many of them in the UK either!!

BP - so are you saying that the patent applies only in the US?:confused:
What about Canada?:confused:
Is that why Tokai got(gets) away with make rediculously accurate reproductions of Strats and Les Pauls?:confused:

The Brian Moores are 4+2 but the design is different enough that it doesn't look like they're copying.
