So I decided to return the Sterling JP70 because, even though it was a great guitar, I have no business playing 7 strings!!!! I got his beast instead. Just arrived today. I got a fantastic deal on it. It's used but in mint condition. All I needed to do was clean up the board a bit, set it up the best I could with Cobalts. She absolutely screams!!!

Ill try to get proper pics later and a clip...

The neck is insane. It felt kind of small at first but I got used to it pretty quick. Amazing guitar!!!

Thanks guys!!! Sadly, the boost knob is messed up. It stays in be on position. I did some research and I couldn't fix it on my own so I have to take it back to the store on Monday to get fixed.

I have the HSS version just like yours. I had the same problem. Check the allen screw adjustment on the tone knob. Mine was loose and the pot would get stuck over the edges of the retainer nut. Quick height adjustment and locked it securely. No issues since..Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! I actually tried that because I found it that is a common problem with this model. I took it to my text and he actually found out that a piece needs to be replaced. He ordered it from music Man this week. I hope to have it ready to go in the next few weeks. Thanks
