Finally work is done and I will be taking 2 weeks off, the plan is as follows:
My gf has been asking me for ages to come and sail with me but I keep telling her that the ships I work on are no cruise vessels and the facilities on board are not welcoming for a lady, so now that we both have time off I made a plan that for the time being she is still unaware of, she thinks we are flying off to a "surprise place" on the Med Sea coast, but in reality we are driving to Southampton where there is a yacht waiting which I have hired for 2 weeks at a very good rate thanks to a broker I have been a friend of for years. I told her not to wear stilettos and that comfortable shoes are a must! She said why not, I have always flown in these before... (oh god! wimmen!!) I said please just do as I've said, you'll see why. So tomorrow morning she will finally see what life at sea is all about, we are sailing to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt eta Aug 2nd am minus 2 essential stops in Gibraltar and Malta for refuelling and fresh water supplies. I've got it all planned and laid out perfectly. This should be interesting, hehe let's hope she is not sea sick otherwise it will be a pain, but I think she'll do well she is a tough one.
The yacht is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities and catering supplies, but once in Egypt we will be joining an organized tourist route on Jeeps and visit the historical places, and stay at a friends house in Sharm el-Sheikh who gave me keys and alarm codes. We are going to have a great time.

Things that won't be featured on this holiday, are basses and any internet devices. Oh and kids too!! My son is away on holiday in Budapest and my gf's daughter are with their dad.
Peace and quiet for once. I will miss u all and I am sure by the time I get back, BP would have launched a new Limited Edition Classic 5 Strings Stingray with the roasted neck that you can order in any body colour you want... ok ok a man can dream.
