I never liked the dog "jingle bells"... unfortunately, my kids love it, and we have a cd with it (which also has the Alvin & the Chipmunks tune...)

I had an ex girlfriend who owned a cd of ducks quacking 6 or 7 christmas songs. most of them were pretty unrecognizable, but "little drummer boy" was deeply disturbing.
but apparently not quite as troubling as my preston reed-esque 2 handed rendition of "I saw 3 ships..." (or whatever it's called). I use DADGAD on my acoustic but try to stick everything in suspended and odd minor voicings (just because I like how it sounds).
... there was an office party for my wife's company, I was asked to play a few songs... somebody compared it to the halloweentown band in "The Nightmare Before Christmas"
it looks like I should just stay away from christmas related things in general. unless I figure out what noise giant anteaters make, then do a cd of them singing christmas songs.
