I'm sure there were a few people on this forum at the DT show tonight.
I got some video of Vai playing, which I'm working on uploading, but it's not the best. I'm hoping some of you have some awesome pics.
I've been listening to DT for nearly 9 years, but this was my first show. It was pretty much what I expected, but still incredible. I'm planning on going to all the shows in my area from here on out.

I bumped into Steve before he went on and had him sign my Berklee ID, lol.

There were rumors that he would jam with them, that's freakin awesome. Was the jam similar to the one from Live at Budokan?

I really wish I was there, but I live in Philly haha. Beyond This Life is one of their best songs, especially live, and to have Steve Vai play with them would just be amazing.

The set list definitely got cut short because of that and the huge drum solo with all the other drummers. I would've rather seen Metropolis than all of that.

BTW- JP had a different JP6 that I've never seen him with live. It was like an ash gray to black burst. I can't remember if I've seen pics of that or not...

Yep, that was the one.

He didn't play the dargie, but he did pull out the Cherry Burst BFR. Now I'm wondering if I want one of those in a 7 string...
