BTW, I liked a lot of the tunes on your iMusicScene profile. It took a minute to realize that you were actually on them. I thought at first you just produced or engineered those bands. Then I read the fine print. Ahhh fine print...

the good 'ol fine print.

i'll wash my hands to fine print....does anybody wanna collab?

I'd love to give it a shot. I guess the worst that could happen is everyone says 'That Metal Terrorist guy sure sucks!' and I'm not too sure I don't so how do you go about it?

My concept of how a collab like this might work is basically swapping MP3's of parts until we got them arranged then record some actual tracks. I've never done it before though so I might be way off.

At present here's my setup/capabilities

I have a PC with Ableton Live and I use EZ Drummer for drums and Broomstick Bass for bass. I generally only do mono/stereo tracks because I've got no multi-tracking skills/experience really.

I can host some of the project files ( like large WAV files ) on my website for transfer back and forth.

Also, I am currently tuned down to B standard so either that or E standard are gonna be it for me for a while. Not that I'm opposed to alt tunings but I have a Floyd which = No Alt tuning. I plan on re-joining the world of E Standard tuning very soon despite 10+ years at or below D standard.

FWIW I have access to any other software you or I might need ( that doesn't require special hardware like Pro Tools ) so that shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the kind remarks. I try not to be just metal.

My site is very low-tech. I don't know jack about web design, I just loaded Dreamweaver and learn by trial and error. I'll add a flash player eventually. The ones that start automatically are a pet peve of mine though. Know what I mean?

I've lived in Columbus all my life ( well, from 3 years old on ) on the north side mainly, along RT 161 near Cleveland Ave. I moved out to the east side, Gahanna/Whitehall/Westerville which is where I live now.

Thanks for listening to our tunes. My partner gets credit for all of the mixing and mastering. He used to own a recording studio so my mix skills are no match for his. I was just bored one day and started the web site.

I used to live across the street from Northland High school as a kid.

Wow! Small world. I went to Northland High school. My folks still live off of Tamarack Circle. Far out.
